FDRHPO.org: A Valuable Online Resource for the Fort Drum Region.

ABC has launched a powerful new website for the Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization (FDRHPO). FDRHPO is an organization dedicated to providing the Fort Drum military and civilian community with quality healthcare. The primary goal of the website is to share information about the region’s unique healthcare delivery system: the Model of Care.

ABC created the site from the ground up and even began the process with a new logo for FDRHPO. Using the new logo as a focal point, ABC then created a unified design for the website and cohesive “voice” for the content.

One of the challenges ABC addressed early on in the website development process was ensuring that the site was useful to all of the recipients of healthcare in the Fort Drum region. This includes soldiers, military family members, veterans, potential employees of the north country health system, and the surrounding civilian community.

ABC utilized a fully customizable content management system to create the site. This allowed ABC to tailor the site’s functionality to FDRHPO’s specific needs. For example, FDRHPO offers many programs to encourage medical professionals and students to consider a career within the Model of Care. Applicants can fill out forms online for these programs. ABC also integrated robust search tools such as a customized medical facility map and locator.

ABC also intentionally built the FDRHPO website dynamically. This allows for unlimited future customization and additions.
